I haven’t had much luck selling the Bonneville. But I’ve found someone looking to do a trade. They have a ‘99 Sunfire with about the same miles as the Bonnie. It should have the 2.2L, so I’d have parts interchange with the Buick. I’m going to go check it out and see what it’s like.

If it’s like the Cavalier I had (and they are twins), I would avoid it like the plague. I hated that. I’ve had many a ride in these Sunfires as well, and I did not enjoy them.

But why? If it’s for DDD (daily driver duty), there are more reliable cars. There are funner cars if reliability doesn’t matter. There are better cars to build up. There’s no reason to buy a Sunfire. Ever.

No way. That thing’s got some decent grunt. Maybe not as bulletproof as the 2.2, but still
